We are pleased to announce the release of the first round entry programming problems for AIPO 2013.

Solutions are to be submitted through this website after registering an account and will be accepted up until February 16th 2013

Languages that are permitted are: C, C++, Java, Python and Perl.

The AIPO Final Round competition will take place in DCU on the 23rd Febuary 2013 and have a Junior and Senior section with prizes for the top three in each. Students who are under 15 years old on the date of the Final Round will be entered into the Junior section of the competition and the rest of the students will compete in the Senior section. Each section will complete a different set of problems.

New to AIPO this year will be the IOI training camp to be held on DCU campus in June (date TBC). The top six students from the senior competition will be invited to this training.

This will be a week long full time problem solving camp with previous IOI medal winners, Irish Collegiate Programming Contest winners and DCU School of Computing academics assisting Team Ireland in preparation for the International Olympiad in Informatics in Brisbane, Australia (6-13 July 2013). Team Ireland will be selected from those six students at the end of the training camp by a select committee. Up to four students can be selected to travel to the IOI but the exact number will depend on the funding secured.

Fidelity InvestmentsWe would like to thank Fidelity Investments and DCU for their continued generous sponsorship of this event.
